Job summary

Tyson Foods in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a team member for first shift who will transport and unload materials with a pallet jack while maintaining safety and following Tyson policies. The role requires coordinating with a Supervisor, keeping records, and ensuring production lines stay supplied with pallets and packaging materials.

Responsibilities include completing daily operator checklists, reporting repairs or safety concerns, and assisting with sanitation per USDA/Tyson guidelines.

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while using a pallet jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Operate a floor jack in a safe manner. Coordinate through the Supervisor and keep accurate records of finished product and packaging material. Complete operator check list daily. Inform Supervisor of needed repairs and safety concerns. Keep production line supplied with pallets, condemned bin and recyclable containers. Verify accuracy of all materials and ingredients used on production line. Assist with clean-up and sanitation of line following USDA/Tyson guidelines. All other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Pay:

$17.25/hour

Schedule

7:00AM - 3:00 or 3:30 PM - or until production ends

Requirements:

• Must complete an on-line job application in Workday
• Must have 6 months continuous work history in 2 years.

This facility accepts rehires after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
