Strategic Solutions Unlimited, Inc. (SSU) is recruiting for a J41 Directorate Human Resources Technician / Senior Journeyman to support U.S. Special Operations Command, Central SOCCENT Operations and Plans Support (SOAPS).

This opportunity is contingent upon contract award. Location is MacDill AFB, FL. Security clearance required: TS, SCI eligible. The role includes travel and calendar coordination, DTS processing, and travel documentation validation for reimbursable expenses.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Applied Statistics, Operations Research, or Systems Analysis.
• Joint Professional Military Education Level II or equivalent; Advanced Military Education levels (SAMS, JAWS; War Colleges).
• At least 5 years strategic and operational planning experience.
• At least 3 years in CENTCOM AOR; MISO; MILDEC; CWMD; ORSA; CYBER; AT/FP; SNA; Interagency experience.
• Equivalent combinations of at least 10 years of SOF operational experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Organize, coordinate, and oversee Commander’s Action Group activities, calendar, travel management.
• Provide DTS processing support for travel authorizations and vouchers and ensure compliance with DoDFMR and DoD travel regs.
• Verify adequacy, legality, and completeness of travel documents and reimbursements.
• Support ODTA reviewers and coordinating with the Government travel program manager.

Education

MA/MS in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Applied Statistics, Operations Research, or Systems Analysis

Joint Professional Military Education Level II

Advanced Military Education Levels (SAMS, JAWS, War Colleges)

5+ years strategic & operational planning

SSU is currently recruiting for a J41 Directorate Human Resources Technician / Senior Journeyman to support U.S. Special Operations Command, Central SOCCENT Operations and Plans Support (SOAPS).

Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for organizing, coordinating, and overseeing the activities of Commander’s Action Group, calendar, schedule, and travel management.
• Serves as the DTS technician providing support of the processing of travel authorizations and vouchers in DTS and legacy systems to ensure compliance with Joint Federal Travel Regulation, the Joint Travel Regulation, Department of Defense Financial Management Regulation (DoDFMR), Vol 9 and other applicable local policies and regulations.
• Ensure correct examination and verification for adequacy, legal propriety and completeness of all travel authorizations, vouchers and supporting documentation for reimbursable travel related expenses.
• Provides necessary support to Organizational Defense Travel Administrators (ODTAs), reviewers and approving officials. Resolves DTS problems with travelers and coordinates actions with Government travel program manager.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in one of these Disciplines: Social Sciences, Public Policy, Applied Statistics, Operations Research, or Systems Analysis
• Joint Professional Military Education Level II or Service Equivalent; Advanced Military Education Levels (i.e. School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), Joint Advanced Warfighting School (JAWS); Service War Colleges).
• At least 5 years strategic and operational planning and analysis
• At least 3 years’ experience in any of the following: in CENTCOM AOR; MISO; MILDEC; CWMD; ORSA; CYBER; AT/FP; SNA; Special Programs; Interagency Experience
• Equivalent combinations of at least 10 years of SOF operational experience and education.
