Job summary

K2 Solutions, Inc. is seeking a J4 Maintenance & Readiness Logistics T. Lead to serve as the senior logistics lead planner and technical advisor on maintenance and sustainment for SOF equipment and platforms at HQ SOCCENT, MacDill AFB, FL.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and designation as Key Personnel. You will oversee maintenance programs, coordinate with partners, and use GCSS-A, SSAVIE, Palantir, and Power BI to track readiness and inform decisions, including lifecycle replacement

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Applied Statistics, Operations Research, or Systems Analysis; JPME Level II or advanced military education; at least 10 years of strategic and operational planning and analysis; OR an equivalent combination of at least 15 years of SOF operational experience and education.
• Expert SOF logistics and maintenance management experience.
• May perform CONUS/OCONUS travel as required.
• This position is designated Key Personnel; a resume is required and government approval is needed prior to any substitution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical advisor on maintenance and sustainment operations for SOF ground and maritime assets, ensuring maximum operational readiness.
• Develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices tailored to SOF mission requirements; oversee and manage maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with joint, interagency, and multinational partners to synchronize maintenance support and logistics integration.
• Utilize advanced logistics/maintenance management systems (GCSS-A, SSAVIE, Palantir, Power BI) to track readiness, analyze trends, and inform decisions.
• Advise senior leadership on equipment lifecycle management, modernization, and resource allocation; conduct readiness assessments and mitigate maintenance shortfalls.
• Understand, manage, and implement the Life Cycle Replacement (LCR) process for SO-P platforms and service-common equipment, including DOTMLPF change requests, BOIPs, and unit equipment authorizations.
• Solicit, input, and maintain unit readiness data in DRRS-S; perform task/site lead functions including daily COR coordination, operating the task management system, and overseeing OPT planners.

• Education and experience: MA/MS in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Applied Statistics, Operations Research, or Systems Analysis; JPME Level II or advanced military education (SAMS, JAWS, Service War College); at least 10 years of strategic and operational planning and analysis; at least 5 years of experience in one of the specialty areas (CENTCOM AOR, MISO, MILDEC, CWMD, ORSA, CYBER, AT/FP, SNA, Special Programs, or Interagency/Intelligence); OR an equivalent combination of at least 15 years of SOF operational experience and education.
• Expert SOF logistics and maintenance management experience.
• May perform CONUS/OCONUS travel as required.
