Job summary

K2 Solutions, Inc. is seeking a J32 Global Force Management Analyst at MacDill AFB, FL to serve as a force management analyst and JCET manager, delivering executive-level assessments and long-range force requirements planning to the SOCCENT J3 director and the commanding general.

The role requires a BA/BS in a related field, JPME Level I, and a TS/SCI clearance with 3+ years of strategic/operational planning experience. Travel may be required and on-site work is expected at HQ SOCCENT.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Applied Statistics, Operations Research, or Systems Analysis.
• JPME Level I or Service equivalent; 3+ years of strategic/operational planning and analysis; OR 5+ years of SOF operational experience and education.
• Experience with GFM databases and the Microsoft Office suite.
• May perform CONUS/OCONUS travel as required.
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI

Responsibilities

• Execute operational-level force requirements planning for SOCCENT and CSOJTF-C, forecasting SOF and conventional enabler requirements.
• Produce the annual consolidated Request for Forces (RFF) on behalf of CSOJTF-C.
• Assess sourcing recommendations from SOCOM and the Services; allocate forces to meet campaign objectives; plan force requirements two years ahead.
• Utilize JCRM and Force Requirements Enhanced Database; apply the GFMAP guidance.
• Release official messages in AMHS; prepare briefs, information papers, and presentations.

Job Purpose / Summary

Serve as a SOF Global Force Management analyst and Joint Combined Exchange Training (JCET) manager, providing executive-level force management assessments and force requirements planning to the SOCCENT J3 director and commanding general.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute operational-level force requirements planning for SOCCENT and CSOJTF-C, forecasting SOF and conventional enabler requirements.
• Produce the annual consolidated Request for Forces (RFF) on behalf of CSOJTF-C.
• Assess sourcing recommendations from SOCOM and the Services; recommend allocation of forces to meet SOF campaign objectives; plan force requirements two years in advance.
• Utilize the Joint Capabilities Requirements Manager (JCRM) and Force Requirements Enhanced Database; comprehend and apply the Global Force Management Allocation Plan (GFMAP).
• Release official messages in the Automated Message Handling System (AMHS); prepare briefs, information papers, and presentations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education and experience: BA/BS in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Applied Statistics, Operations Research, or Systems Analysis; Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Level I or Service equivalent; at least 3 years of strategic and operational planning and analysis; at least 3 years of experience in one or more of CENTCOM AOR, MISO, MILDEC, CWMD, ORSA, CYBER, AT/FP, SNA, Special Programs, or Interagency experience; OR an equivalent combination of at least 5 years of SOF operational experience and education.
• Experience with GFM databases and the Microsoft Office suite.
• May perform CONUS/OCONUS travel as required.
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI
