Job summary

K2 Solutions, Inc. seeks a J34 SOF Force Protection Analyst at MacDill AFB, FL to conduct warfighter survivability and force protection analysis to enable SOCCENT to protect critical resources and posture forces across the CENTCOM AOR.

Duties include developing CONOPS and risk assessments, reviewing CIP/force protection plans, and providing support across agencies; travel to CONUS/OCONUS as required. The role requires a BA/BS in a relevant field, JPME Level I, 3+ years of planning and analysis

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Applied Statistics, ORSA, or Systems Analysis.
• JPME Level I or service equivalent.
• 3+ years of strategic and operational planning and analysis; OR 5+ years of SOF operational experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct warfighter survivability analysis for short- and long-term strategic planning documents and CIP.
• Review and produce force protection CONOPS, TTPs, roadmaps, after-action reviews, assessments, and information papers.
• Develop and implement streamlined, adaptive planning methodologies; conduct vulnerability, threat, and CIP assessments across the CENTCOM AOR.
• Develop a security risk assessment methodology providing qualitative assessment of security-related actions and metrics.
• Conduct analyses for SOCCENT, MACOMs, and other agencies (NCTC, DOS, CIA, DIA) for CIP and force protection requirements.
• Provide SOF force protection support through all phases of planning and project development; prepare briefs and maintain mission-continuity resources.

Job Purpose / Summary

Conduct warfighter survivability and force protection analysis to enable SOCCENT to protect critical resources, deter and counter evolving threats, and posture forces across the CENTCOM AOR.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct warfighter survivability analysis for short- and long-term strategic planning documents and critical infrastructure protection (CIP).
• Review and produce force protection CONOPS, TTPs, roadmaps, after-action reviews, assessments, and information papers.
• Develop and implement streamlined, adaptive planning methodologies; conduct vulnerability, threat, and CIP assessments across the CENTCOM AOR.
• Develop a security risk assessment methodology providing qualitative assessment of security-related actions and metrics.
• Conduct analyses for SOCCENT, MACOMs, and other agencies (NCTC, DOS, CIA, DIA, combatant commands) for CIP and force protection requirements.
• Provide SOF force protection support through all phases of planning and project development; prepare briefs and maintain mission-continuity resources.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education and experience: BA/BS in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Applied Statistics, Operations Research, or Systems Analysis; Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Level I or Service equivalent; at least 3 years of strategic and operational planning and analysis; at least 3 years of experience in one or more of CENTCOM AOR, MISO, MILDEC, CWMD, ORSA, CYBER, AT/FP, SNA, Special Programs, or Interagency experience; OR an equivalent combination of at least 5 years of SOF operational experience and education.
• Experience in vulnerability/threat assessments and force protection planning.
• May perform CONUS/OCONUS travel as required.
