Job summary

Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. in Reno, NV seeks a Housekeeping Inspector to supervise cleaning staff and ensure rooms meet standards. The role emphasizes addressing guest concerns and managing housekeeping equipment and supplies in a dynamic hotel environment.

Requirements include 1 year of hotel housekeeping experience or related field, and verification of identity and work eligibility in the United States. High School Diploma preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assigns work to cleaning personnel and trains personnel in housekeeping duties.
• Addresses guest complaints regarding housekeeping service or equipment.
• Writes requisitions regarding housekeeping service, or equipment.
• Reports needed for room redecoration to housekeepers.
• Examines carpets, drapes, and furniture for stains, damage, or wear.
• Checks and counts linens and supplies.
• Records inspection results and notifies cleaning personnel of inadequacies.
• Makes sure rooms are clean and ready to be occupied.
