Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. in Reno, NV is hiring a Heavy Duty Cleaner for the J Resort, a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms. You will maintain cleanliness of back-of-house areas, kitchens, bars, and food service zones to support excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must understand English and communicate effectively.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Working knowledge of the food service industry preferred.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Identification confirming identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Clean back of the house areas, including kitchen, bar, food storage, and trash handling areas.
• Break down and clean all cooking and food holding equipment including ovens, ranges, fryers, broilers, griddles, hot and cold wells, and hot boxes.
• Clean walls, floors, mats, vents and floor drains.
• Clean all tables, shelves, racks, speed racks, sinks and dishwashing equipment.
• Move equipment and clean under and behind.
• Deep clean bars including sinks, behind and under equipment, refrigeration.
• Remove all boxes, milk crates and trash to dock and dumpster.
• Follow sanitary and proper food handling procedures.
• Monitors all machine functions and gauges for proper temp.
• Reports malfunctions, breakdowns and any needs to Management.
