Fertility Specialists of Texas is seeking an IVF Coordinator RN to educate and support patients from cycle start to completion, coordinating care across clinical, embryology, and billing teams in Plano, TX. The role requires strong clinical skills, patient empathy, and proactive communication.

You will educate patients on IVF/FET protocols, schedule procedures, monitor progress, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure meticulous documentation and smooth workflows.

Qualifications

• RN with active licensure and clinical experience in fertility or ambulatory care.
• ACLS/BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Familiarity with EMR and Microsoft Office applications.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on IVF and FET procedures, testing, and treatment plans.
• Coordinate lab testing, obtain consents, and review results with patients.
• Schedule and track IVF and FET procedures and testing.
• Develop and maintain patient monitoring flowsheets and document reviews.
• Collaborate with physicians, embryology, and billing to coordinate care.
• Monitor clinic operations, administer injections, and collect samples.
• Communicate with patients via phone, portal, and email; provide emotional support.
• Perform ultrasounds and IUI procedures as needed and monitor sterile areas.

Our team combines advanced reproductive technology with a patient-first approach, supporting individuals and families at every step of their fertility journey.The RoleThe IVF Coordinator RN educates, assists, and provides individualized, compassionate care to patients throughout their IVF and FET fertility treatment cycles. Working closely with physicians and clinical staff, this full-time role reports to the Clinical Operations Manager and Clinical Operations Director. We're looking for a clinically skilled, detail-oriented nurse who can balance hands-on patient care with strong coordination and communication across teams.What You'll DoYou'll be hands-on with patients from the start of their cycle through completion, coordinating care across the clinical, embryology, and billing teams. Core responsibilities include:Educate patients on IVF and FET procedures, testing, and treatment plansCoordinate required lab testing, obtain consent forms, and review and educate patients on resultsSchedule and track patient IVF and FET procedures and testingDevelop and maintain patient monitoring flowsheets, ensuring thorough care documentation and comprehensive review of medical recordsCollaborate with physician, clinical, embryology, and billing staff to coordinate patient care and treatment plansAssist in monitoring clinic operations, including PACU/OR procedures, medication management, administering injections, and collecting blood, urine, and tissue samplesReview and implement physician orders and treatment cycle plansCorrespond with patients via phone, portal, and email, acting as a liaison between patients and physicians and providing emotional support, including prompt response to patient emergenciesPerform ultrasounds and IUI procedures, maintain sterile treatment areas, and participate in training staff within the same job class or lowerWhat We're Looking ForHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredRN with active certification/licensure requiredActive ACLS/BLS/CPR certification requiredMinimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting preferredPrevious fertility coordination experience preferredPhlebotomy experience preferredStrong understanding of IVF procedures, protocols, and fertility treatments, with the ability to educate patients on processes, medication administration, and treatment plansCompassionate, patient-centered approach, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and maintain detailed recordsProficient with EMR systems and Microsoft Office; able to travel to other locations as neededScheduleThis is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, based in Plano, TX.
