Job summary

Fertility Specialists of Texas is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Plano clinic. This in-person, part-time role supports physicians, manages schedules, assists with intake and education, and maintains accurate medical records.

You’ll perform phlebotomy, prepare charts and pre-operative paperwork, sterilize instruments, and help with procedures. Weekend shifts and occasional travel to nearby locations required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical assisting certification preferred.
• Active BLS/CPR certification required.
• 1+ year of clinical experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care.
• Manage daily clinical schedules and assist with patient intake and education.
• Assist during procedures and collect samples as needed.
• Review and maintain accurate medical records and chart progress.
• Prepare labels, requisitions, and pre-operative paperwork.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our daily clinical operations — working closely with physicians and staff to keep things running smoothly, supporting patients through their fertility journey, and ensuring accurate, thorough medical records every step of the way.The ideal candidate brings clinical experience, a team-first attitude, and organized energy to FST. Core hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM–1:00 PM, with rotating Saturday half-days and occasional holidays.
