In this position you will be responsible for various clinical and administrative responsibilities while ensuring efficient and professional customer service to our patients. This role is full time, Monday- Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm with rotating weekends at our Frisco location.Major Responsibilities/Tasks:Answer and screens telephone calls in a courteous mannerSchedule patient appointments and procedures according to established policies and proceduresComfort in speaking to patients regarding reproductive medicineObtain accurate demographic and insurance information from patients and discuss with themChecking patients in and out of the clinic which may include explanation of benefits, collection of time-of-service co-payments, unpaid balances and complete patient intake paperworkProcess and post charges dailyVerify account balances for accuracy and provide information to patients regarding unpaid balances.Prior authorization for surgical procedures and treatmentCreating and updating patient chartsDocument records in appropriate sections of patient charts and keeps patient charts in proper orderPrepare patient charts in advance and complete patient charts when finalData entry of office visits, consults and surgery including ICD-10 and CPT codingMaintain files and records in a confidential mannerMaintain organization and efficiency of front officeMaintain patient confidentialityPerform other related duties as requested or assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredDependableReliable TransportationProficient in using phone systems and other office equipmentStrong knowledge of Computer and Software Systems and functions, proficient in Microsoft Excel and WordKnowledge of medical terminology and insurance practicesMust have clear, customer oriented, professional communication/phone skillsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyStrong attention to detail and accuracy in all work performedAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalismPrevious experience in a medical office setting requiredKnowledge of basic arithmetic to make calculations, balance and reconcile payments processed, and complete data entry to document patient financial accountsknowledge of HIPAA LawIf you are a highly motivated individual with exceptional organizational skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service, we encourage you to apply!
