Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a Pharmacist IV Room Coordinator to oversee sterile compounding operations and ensure CSP safety and regulatory compliance. The role collaborates with pharmacy leaders, clinicians, and staff to maintain quality, accuracy, and efficiency in the IV cleanroom, following USP 797/800 standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy required
• Hospital experience is required
• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy
• 1 year of Hospital experience required. Residency experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sterile compounding operations in the IV room and CSP quality programs.
• Ensure compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, state board regulations and Joint Commission standards.
• Assist with audits, training, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with pharmacy leadership, technicians and nursing staff to maintain workflow and safety.
• Monitor productivity and operational metrics to improve efficiency and patient care.
