Job summary

Communicare is seeking a Pharmacy IV Technician to join our Glen Burnie, MD team. In this full-time role, you will provide IV medication and healthcare products through sterile compounding processes under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Qualifications

• Must be a Maryland licensed Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Working knowledge of USP797 guidelines for training, compounding medications, and cleaning cleanroom.
• Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare IV medications under the direction of a Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs and USP797 guidelines for sterile compounding.
• Maintain inventory of drugs and ensure their security.
