ContinuumRx, the nation's leading JV specialty and home infusion therapy expert, seeks full-time IV Pharmacy Technicians to join our Chantilly team. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, an energetic, compassionate approach, and a commitment to patient care.

You will mix IV medications using sterile techniques, conduct USP-797 compliant environmental monitoring, maintain drug inventory, and enter home medication lists into CPR+ for patient profiles.

Qualifications

• Current, active and in good standing technician license/registration in the state of employment.
• Experience as a pharmacy technician preferred; home infusion therapy experience also preferred but not required.
• Must be well organized, able to set priorities, work independently, and be an effective team member.
• Must be able to communicate articulately and comprehend written and verbal communications.
• Must be able to function efficiently in a fast paced work environment.
• Computer skills required (Windows, Office).

Responsabilités

• Mix IV and other pharmaceutical preparations using proper sterile compounding techniques per procedures.
• Performs environmental monitoring, sanitation, testing and USP-797 compliant activities.
• Maintains accurate drug inventory through purchasing, receiving, stocking, pulling, counting and tracking.
• Enters home medication lists and lab results into CPR+ for patient profiles when available.
• Cleans ante-room and clean room according to USP-797 standards and maintains clean room logs.
• Verifies lot numbers and conducts periodic inventory checks.
• Assist with on-call responsibilities as needed.
• Complete competency verification upon hire and annually thereafter.
