VHC Health in Arlington, VA, seeks a Certified IV Pharmacy Technician Per-Diem to prepare sterile and non-sterile medications under pharmacist supervision and oversee sterile compounding room activities.

The role requires hospital pharmacy experience, a Virginia-licensed CPhT, a high school diploma, and proficiency with MS Office and basic math. You will contribute to efficient medication distribution and staff training.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience as Pharmacy Technician in a hospital environment is required.
• One year of pharmacy sterile compounding experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and basic mathematics is required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares sterile and non-sterile medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Manages distributive processes, equipment and systems across the hospital.
• Acts as primary contact and provides direction for all sterile compounding room activities.
• Supervises and trains other pharmacy staff in the sterile compounding room.
• Follows standard procedures and guidelines.
