Job summary

IMCS Group in the United States is seeking a Pharmacy Technician with hospital experience to support IV sterile compounding and medication dispensing under Wellspan guidelines.

The role requires a PA license with active certification, EPIC and Pyxis experience, and a minimum of 2 years of experience. The position includes M-Th or Tu-F shifts, on-site duties in a tobacco-free facility, with occasional holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• PA license required; Certified Pharmacy Technician or Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• EPIC experience required.
• Pyxis experience required.
• RTO: max 7 days.
• Holidays as needed; weekends not required.

Responsibilities

• Receives and stocks deliveries of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
• Prepares, packages, and labels medications prior to dispensing.
• Delivers medications to care areas within the hospital.
• Delivers medications to off-site locations.
• Manages pharmacy inventory using electronic systems.
• Monitors product expirations and removes outdated stock.
• Responds to product recalls.
• Compounds non-sterile and sterile medications.
• Maintains clean and disinfected procedures.
• Performs clerical duties and handles telephones.
• Trains/mentors new pharmacy technicians and interns.
