Option Care Health, Inc. is the nation’s largest home infusion provider, delivering exceptional care across all states. We seek a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to lead IV room operations, coach technicians, and ensure high-quality aseptic compounding and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes staff development, policy implementation, and reliable performance. Bring a valid CPhT and CSPT-initial timeframe; leadership and accuracy are essential for patient safety and service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required; CSPT within 12 months if supervising.
• Minimum 5 years of pharmacy technician experience, or 1 year of lead/supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IV room pharmacy technician operations and staff.
• Develop operational goals and track progress toward them.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and state regulations.
• Develop new policies and procedures.
• Review and approve Pharmacy Technician schedules.
• Interview and select new technicians.
• Evaluate technicians for career-path promotions.
• Ensure adequate training for staff.
• Prepare aseptic IV admixtures, including chemotherapy.
• Maintain quality control standards for clean room and laminar flow hood/BSC activities.
• Function at an advanced practice level where state regulations permit.
