The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a pharmacy technician or 1 year in a lead role, with a valid CPhT; CSPT required within 12 months if supervising compounding techs. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy technician experience, or 1 year lead/supervisory experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required.
• CSPT certification required within 12 months of hire (if supervising compounding technicians).
• Licensed and/or registered if required by state.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to delegate responsibilities to ensure timely, accurate work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy technician operations in the IV room and supervise staff.
• Develop operational goals and track progress; ensure compliance with policies and state regulations.
• Identify staffing needs and manage technician schedules; interview and select staff.
• Prepare aseptic IV admixtures and maintain quality control in clean room environments.
