Polaris Pharmacy Services seeks an IV Pharmacy Technician to support sterile compounding and prescription fulfillment under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

The role requires adherence to USP 797, data entry accuracy, and collaboration with care facilities. Candidates should have a high school diploma and an active pharmacy technician license, with preferred experience in long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Data entry and analytical tasks as part of daily duties.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations.
• Experience with IV meds and sterile compounding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain Sterile Compounding room following USP 797 guidelines.
• Fill prescriptions and prepare Sterile Compounding under pharmacist supervision.
• Stage, prep, and fill orders for long-term care facilities.
• Compound Sterile Solutions in a Class 100 clean room.
• Enter data accurately and support the IV department operations.
