Job summary

Baptist Health in Fernandina Beach, FL seeks a Registered IV Admix Pharmacy Technician to join the central pharmacy team on a PRN basis. You will work in the IV room, prepare sterile compounds, restock OR anesthesia workstations, and wear full PPE as needed.

You will support the pharmacist, handle unit-dose orders, and ensure USP 797 compliance. Requires 1–2 years of pharmacy tech experience; Florida RPT; CPT preferred; high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Pharmacy Technician Experience; Sterile Compounding Experience Preferred
• Must be registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) with Florida Board of Pharmacy
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPT) Preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist on duty in preparing and distributing medications.
• Fill automated dispensing cabinets and unit-dose medication orders and envelopes.
• Basic reconstitution of oral suspensions.
• Maintain drug inventory and packaging of medications.
• Maintain compliance with USP 797 standards in compounding IV admixture and TPN.
• Work under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
