Job summary

Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare and distribute under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Duties include IV admixtures, ADC refills, labeling, delivering meds to care areas, stocking, and maintaining safe storage with a focus on patient safety.

Estimated pay range is $22.32–$29.02 per hour, commensurate with experience. Minimum 3 years of technician experience, sterile and hazardous compounding skills preferred, with licensure as a Pharmacy

Qualifications

• 3+ years technician experience in hospital compounding or outpatient infusion.
• Sterile and hazardous compounding experience preferred.
• Ability to fill and label medications and operate pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute IV admixtures under a licensed pharmacist.
• Refill ADCs and fill/label medications for patient care areas.
• Deliver medications to patients and maintain stock levels and storage.
• Provide exceptional customer service and use pharmacy information systems.
