Job summary

Baptist Health, a leading not-for-profit healthcare system in South Florida, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to assist under a pharmacist. Responsibilities include IV admixtures, medication labeling, stock maintenance, and strong patient service.

Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, registered technician status, PTCB certification, and 3+ years hospital or outpatient experience; sterile and hazardous compounding experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician.
• PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• 3+ years technician experience (hospital, outpatient infusion).
• Sterile Compounding Certification (Preferred).
• Complex Hazardous Compounding experience including 20+ hours weekly and chemotherapies.

Responsibilities

• The Pharmacy Technician prepares and distributes under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Prepare non-hazardous and hazardous IV admixtures, refill ADCs, fill and label medications.
• Answer phones, route calls, deliver medications to patient care areas, maintain stock levels.
• Maintain proper storage and general pharmacy organization and cleanliness; provide patient-focused service.
