Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking an experienced IT demo developer to own the ITSM and ITOM demo stories, including end-to-end workflows, data, and environments. You will partner with product marketing and product management to craft narrative-driven demos and keep them current with releases.

The role emphasizes hands-on building on the ServiceNow platform, including Now Assist/AI Agents, Discovery, CMDB, and Cloud Management, with responsibilities across staging, staging data, and live presentation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development using ITSM and ITOM.
• Strong scripting on the platform including Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, UI Builder/Workspaces, REST integrations, and update set/instance management.
• Experience building or supporting demo environments, sandboxes, or lab instances with provisioning, cloning and data seeding at scale.
• Ability to write a story and turn marketing messages into persona-driven narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Strong communication with product, marketing, and executives; comfortable presenting demos live.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT demo story and end-to-end ITSM/ITOM demo portfolio for keynotes, events, and field-ready versions.
• Hands-on development of demo scenarios on ServiceNow: Now Assist/AI Agents for IT, Service Operations Workspace, ITSM Pro, Discovery, CMDB, Cloud Cost, and more.
• Translate release themes and PMM messaging into a demo script, build environment, personas, and seeded data; write the talk track and demo guide.
• Keep environments healthy: manage demo instances, data, integrations, cloning, upgrades, and release-current status.
• Be the IT demo point person across Marketing, Events, Analyst Relations, and Sales enablement; scope requests and manage expectations.
• Partner with Product to get early feedback on pre-release features and feed it back into development.
• Deliver on stage and on video; collaborate with designers and video editors; coach presenters.
• Leverage AI-assisted development (Claude, Claude Code, MCP) to speed up build cycles and contribute to reusable frameworks.
