Kapsch TrafficCom is hiring a Traffic Management Center (TMC) Operator in Chesterfield, Missouri. You will monitor road conditions, operate ITS technologies, and support incident response from a multi-monitor workstation.

The role emphasizes accurate data input, traveler information dissemination, and collaboration with first responders and partner agencies. Full-time, day and evening shifts available; starting pay $20/hour with benefits per company policy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; college degree or related experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows-based systems and multi-monitor workstations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor traffic conditions using ITS technologies on a multi-monitor workstation.
• Identify incidents using CCTV, patrols, and reports.
• Coordinate and dispatch responses to incidents via radio, phone, or internal systems.
• Input and manage data in real-time systems with accurate records.
• Provide traveler information to the public via signs, websites, and partner agencies.
• Collaborate with teammates, first responders, and stakeholders to manage daily operations.
