Job summary

Kapsch TrafficCom AG in Missouri is seeking highly motivated Traffic Management Center (TMC) Operators to monitor traffic conditions from a multi-monitor workstation, coordinate incident response, and deliver timely traveler information to the public.

You will monitor conditions, identify incidents, and work with first responders in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. Starting pay is $20.00/hour with a comprehensive benefits package and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• College degree or related work experience in transportation, public safety, dispatch, or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate ITS technologies and monitor traffic conditions across a multi-monitor workstation.
• Identify and track incidents using CCTV, patrol reports, and other data sources.
• Coordinate and dispatch responses to roadway incidents via radio, phone, or internal systems.
• Input and manage data in real-time systems with accurate incident records.
• Provide traveler information via signs, websites, and partner agencies.
