Qualifications

• Multi-Categorical WV teaching certification required or eligible.
• ALC/Option Pathway endorsements or willingness to obtain.
• Training in trauma-informed practices and SEL recommended.

Responsibilities

• Implement instructional programs for assigned students with current content knowledge.
• Collaborate with general and special education teachers to plan and modify instruction.
• Maintain structured, safe learning environments and monitor student attendance.
• Coordinate IEP/504-related responsibilities and WV standards alignment.
• Deliver virtual/homebound instruction as part of Alternative Learning Center programs.
• Communicate progress with families and administrators; support at-risk students.
