Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs is seeking an In-person Homebound Teacher – Itinerant to cover a county-wide caseload with up to three students. The role involves delivering interventions in ELA, math, social studies, science, and writing for identified students.

Collaboration with teachers and the school principal to analyze data and plan interventions is essential, as is experience with IEPs. The position runs summers only, June 2, 2025 through August 20, 2025, at $30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate or WV Special Education permit.
• Minimum of five years teaching experience.
• Experience or knowledge of IEPs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ELA, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and Writing intervention services to identified students.
• Collaborate with core and support teachers and principal to analyze student performance data and plan intervention strategies.
• Have knowledge and/or experience working with students with IEPs.
• Submit required documents in a timely manner.
