Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs is seeking an In-person Homebound Teacher for the Wyoming County Board of Education, County-wide, itinerant assignment up to 6 hours per week per student, AS NEEDED.

The role delivers ELA, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science and Writing interventions; collaborates with core and support teachers and the principal to analyze performance data and plan interventions; requires knowledge of IEPs and timely submission of documents. Compensation is $30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid WV Teaching Certificate or Special Education permit.
• Minimum five years teaching experience.
• Experience with IEPs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ELA, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science and Writing intervention services to identified students.
• Collaborate with core and support teachers and school principal to analyze student performance data and plan intervention strategies.
• Have knowledge and/or experience working with students with IEPs.
• Submit required documents in a timely manner.
