Job summary

San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) is seeking a Part-Time Itinerant BIS Paraeducator. The role focuses on direct behavioral support for students under the supervision of a teacher/administrator, implementing BIS aligned with IEPs and PBIS.

The BIS Paraeducator will collect data, report progress, and use SFUSD data systems. Required qualifications include an associate degree or higher and relevant experience in student support services.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher (or 48 college units + high school diploma) with CBEST or aide pathway.
• Experience or training in behavior/social-emotional support is preferred.
• Ability to use data systems to review IEPs and progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide BIS to students individually or in groups as outlined in IEPs.
• Implement BIPs, PBIS and other evidence-based interventions.
• Collect and report data on student behavior and progress toward IEP goals.
• Maintain compliance with safety, confidentiality and district standards.
