Job summary

The San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) is seeking a Special Education Paraeducator (S10) to support students with severe impairments under the supervision of a teacher in SFUSD’s Early Education classrooms. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson plans, tutoring groups, maintaining records, and adapting materials.

This part-time school-term position offers hourly pay between $34.25 and $40.07, with benefits such as dental/vision, pension, disability, life insurance, and paid

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher required or 48 college units with high school diploma.
• CBEST and/or Instructional Aide Exam with a high school diploma accepted.
• Microsoft Office Suite and GSuite competency needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning lessons and preparing instructional materials for severely impaired pupils.
• Supervise and/or tutor individuals or small groups in specific skills or content areas.
• Administer tests, review assignments, and maintain pupil records.
