Qualifications

• Education requirements include an Associates Degree or higher OR 48 college units and a high school diploma OR passing CBEST or Instructional Aide exam.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning lessons and preparing instructional materials for severely impaired pupils.
• Supervises and/or tutors individuals or small groups in specific skill areas within an IEP framework.
• Maintains records and assists in evaluating pupils.
• Operates and maintains instructional equipment and supplies.
