Tampa Electric Company is seeking an ITIL Process Consultant to lead and optimize Change, Configuration, and Problem Management across Corporate and North American assets. The role emphasizes governance, risk mitigation, and adherence to ITIL standards and CIP requirements.

The position requires strong process background, experience with CMDB and ITSM tools, and the ability to mentor others. Normal office environment with opportunities for cross-functional collaboration within IT Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in computer science or business; 4 additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Master’s degree in IT-related field or MBA preferred.
• ITILv3 or ITILv4 Release and Control Practitioner within 6 months of hire; IT-related certifications (CCNA, MSCE, Network+).
• 8 years of related work experience performing duties of this position.
• Experience implementing Change, Configuration, and Problem Management processes throughout the life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and consultation in planning, design, and improvement of change, configuration, and problem management processes.
• Lead projects, cross-train peers, and assist compliance teams to meet requirements.
• Implement and ensure compliance of change, configuration, and problem management processes.
• Support day-to-day IT Change Enablement operations and mentor other analysts.
