Job summary

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Dominican Republic at Tropicalia seeks an Italian Restaurant Chef to lead the kitchen, ensuring authentic, high-level dining experiences aligned with the hotel’s standards.

You will oversee daily operations, uphold quality and presentation, develop the culinary team, and manage inventory and costs while coordinating with F&B for exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Italian Restaurant Chef, Senior Sous Chef, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of traditional and contemporary Italian cuisine.
• Experience in luxury hospitality, resorts, or high-end restaurants.
• Proven ability to lead and develop culinary teams.
• Knowledge of cost control and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily kitchen operations of the Italian restaurant.
• Ensure quality, presentation, flavor, and consistency of each dish.
• Supervise and coach culinary team to maintain high performance standards.
• Ensure hygiene, food safety, and proper handling standards.
• Manage inventory, food costs, waste, and product utilization.
• Support menu development while preserving Italian authenticity.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage to ensure a seamless dining experience.
