Job summary

Isla Bella Beach Resort is seeking a skilled chef to lead our kitchen operations in Marathon, FL. You will oversee preparation across banquets, room service, and dining room, ensuring top quality and consistency.

Responsibilities include hiring and training staff, scheduling, coordinating with stewarding and purchasing, and maintaining performance records. A culinary graduate with kitchen leadership experience is required, with strong English communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and culinary education.
• Experience as a chef or in a kitchen leadership role.
• Strong communication and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food projects including banquets, room service, dining room, and events.
• Supervises preparation of all food items and quality control.
• Hires and trains new employees for the department.
• Schedules departmental personnel according to demand.
• Supervises and evaluates department staff and performance.
• Coordinates with stewarding and purchasing teams.
• Maintains personnel records and labor cost data.
