Job summary

Sprout is seeking a Terminal Operator to ensure safe, efficient ITAD terminal operations, overseeing receipt, storage, and dispatch of electronic equipment while complying with safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires strong data entry, inventory control, driver liaison, and attention to detail; proficiency in Excel and inventory software; English fluency; physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, with overtime/weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT asset disposition (ITAD) or similar environment preferred.
• Experience in inventory management or a related field is required.
• Fluency in English is required; Spanish language proficiency is highly desired.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Driver Coordination: greet truck drivers, verify load numbers, and manage driver documentation.
• Receiving and Dispatching Equipment: oversee safe handling and documentation.
• Document Management: organize and store relevant documents.
• Data Collection and Entry: accurately collect and enter data into the system.
• Product Verification: inspect equipment against Bills of Lading (BOLs), and take photos for records.
• Customer Requirements: ensure customer-specific requirements are met.
• Inventory Management: conduct cycle counting, manage stock levels, and perform outbound scanning and sealing.
• Load Status Updates: keep the system updated with real-time statuses.
• Safety Compliance: conduct regular safety checks and drills.
• Quality Control: perform quality checks on equipment and ensure standards.
