Job summary

Sprout is seeking an ITAD Operator to identify and classify IT assets, safely transport materials, and maintain organized stock areas. You will de-manufacture devices for recycling, follow strict safety and data security standards, and document actions in the ERP system.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of ITAD or reverse logistics experience, strong English skills, and the ability to work overtime including weekends. This on-site role supports Sprout's nationwide operations from North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding English.
• Able to type 40 words per minute with accuracy.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic and measurements.
• Experience with hand tools (drills, pliers, etc.).
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends.
• Adaptable to changing tasks and expectations.
• Minimum 1 year in ITAD or reverse logistics.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management.
• Demonstrated focus on process improvement and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Identify and categorize IT assets and consumer electronics.
• Safely transport materials across the site.
• Keep workstations and stock areas organized.
• Disassemble assets into parts for recycling or disposal.
• Follow operational procedures and safety protocols.
• Adhere to data security requirements (R2v3, ISO 27001).
• Perform stock audits and maintain ERP records.
• Advance to higher levels with experience and skill.
• Document actions and materials accurately in ERP.
