Inceed has partnered with a great company in Carrollton, TX to fill an ITAD Technician role. This hands-on position involves secure intake, testing, and data sanitization of enterprise hardware, ensuring accuracy, care, and compliance throughout the process.

You will work with Dell, HPE, Lenovo, or Supermicro servers, following SOPs and documenting results for audits. The role requires 1+ years of ITAD or hardware support experience and entails lifting equipment in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years hands-on ITAD, repair, or hardware support experience.
• Experience with enterprise server hardware and components.
• Knowledge of secure data wipe and chain-of-custody practices.
• Ability to follow SOPs, tickets, and quality checklists.
• Comfortable lifting and moving equipment in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and document incoming server equipment.
• Perform secure data sanitization and maintain records.
• Run diagnostics and burn-in tests on hardware components.
• Refurbish, repair, and update enterprise server systems.
• Configure storage, networking, and baseline system settings.
• Grade equipment condition and prepare final packaging.
• Track serials, configurations, and test results accurately.
• Support safety, ESD, and workflow improvement practices.
• Assist with compliance and audit documentation as needed.

Compensation: $23/hr-$25/hr, depending on experience

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with enterprise hardware in a fast-paced production environment. In this role, you will support the secure intake, testing, helping ensure every asset is handled with accuracy, care, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Receive, verify, and document incoming server equipment.
• Perform secure data sanitization and maintain records.
• Run diagnostics and burn-in tests on hardware components.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with storage arrays or basic network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows Server or Linux environments.
• Exposure to VMware, Hyper-V, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience using ERP or WMS inventory systems.
• OEM certifications or CompTIA A+, Network+, or Server+.
