Socket.dev is seeking a Service Delivery Support Specialist to join our IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) team. You will bridge our company and clients, handling inquiries, guiding asset disposition, and ensuring compliance with data security and environmental regulations.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and proactive project coordination to keep ITAD processes running smoothly from intake to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and 2–3 years of experience in a project coordinator or client service role.
• Strong communication (oral and written) and self-organization are critical.
• Proactive with timely follow-up and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to apply data to solve problems.
• Ability to manage peak workloads, meet short deadlines, and handle project-based work.
• Team orientation with strong client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Client Communication: Engage with clients via phone, email, and chat to address inquiries, orders, concerns, and requests.
• Information Dissemination: Provide details about ITAD process, services, pricing, compliance, and documentation.
• Order Management: Help clients create and update asset disposition orders and track status.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to scheduling, logistics, data security, or compliance.
• Technical Assistance: Provide basic guidance on portal usage and issues.
• Project Oversight: Monitor details to ensure project success.
• Customer Education: Teach best practices for preparing assets for disposition and pickup.
• Compliance and Documentation: Guide clients on data erasure certificates, recycling, disposal, audits, and invoices.
