Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking an IT User Accounts Analyst for a long-term contract at Joint Base Andrews, on-site only. The role focuses on managing user accounts in Active Directory, access control, and providing strong end-user support in a government services environment.

The candidate must have Security+ CE, 5+ years (or 7+ years) of relevant experience, and demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills. TS/SCI eligibility is required; sponsorship is unavailable.

• Troubleshoot and resolve user access issues via phone, MS Teams and email; provide high-quality customer support.

Position: IT User Accounts Analyst

Location: Joint Base Andrews (100% ONSITE)

Duration: Long Term Contract until 06/2029

Clearance: MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO MAINTAIN OR OBTAIN A TS/SCI CLEARANCE (sponsorship unavailible)

Shift: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay:

$40.11/hr. (BASE PAY) + $5.09/hr. (SCA PAY) = $45.20/hr (SET RATE)

**Accrued Sick Leave | 11 Paid Federal Holidays | 80 PTO hours AFTER 12 Months**

MUST HAVES:

• Security+ CE (please send copy)
• Associate’s & 5+ years of experience OR 7+ Years of experience
• Proficient with Active Directory and excellent customer service skills

Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

Provides phone and in-person support to users in the areas of e-mail, directories, and standard Windows desktop applications, and applications developed under this contract or predecessors. Serves as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software PC and printer problems.

Primary Duties

• Create, modify, disable and delete user accounts in Active Directory in response to new hires, role changes, and terminations. This includes managing user attributes and group membership.
• Create and maintain security and distribution groups.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user access issues, including login problems and permission errors via phone, MS teams & email
• Grant File share permissions
• Provide excellent customer service support to our end users for questions, problems or issues

Basic Requirements

• Specialized experience includes knowledge of PC operating systems, e.g., DOS, Windows, as well as networking and mail standards and work on a help desk.
• General experience includes information systems development and other work in the client/server field, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing and a positive customer service attitude
