Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2–3 years IT training experience, healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience in large, dynamic project environments.
• Competency with Cerner bundle: Registration, Scheduling, PowerChart.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience training business apps like Kronos, Lawson.
• Solid knowledge of workflows for business and clinical apps.
• Mastery of an eLearning authoring tool, preferably Captivate.
• Experience developing quick reference guides.
• Mastery of SnagIt for screen capture and annotations.
• Proven track record of professional excellence.
• Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Present information using varied instructional techniques (role play, group work, videos).
• Schedule classes based on classroom and instructor availability.
• Create self-paced learning avenues with video and computer-based tools.
• Develop or obtain training manuals, guides, and course materials.
• Develop classroom-style training programs for new apps and hardware.
• Monitor, evaluate, and record training activities and effectiveness.
• Assess training needs via surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
• Design orientation and training for IT applications.
• Stay current with technology developments in area of expertise.
