Job summary

The University of Southern California seeks an Analyst, Trojan Secure to lead security awareness across the campus. You will design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs for students, staff, and faculty, and coordinate with ITS teams to ensure broad adoption.

In this role you’ll audit training effectiveness, stay current with threat trends, and guide incident response education while aligning with USC policies and ethics.

Qualifications

• 2 years in cybersecurity training and awareness.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Human Resources Management, or Information Science.
• Ability to develop and coordinate security awareness programs for the university community.
• Knowledge of social engineering tactics and how to design effective exercises.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Designs and executes awareness campaigns and training content.
• Conducts regular security awareness training sessions.
• Coordinates with IT teams to validate widespread dissemination of cybersecurity information.
• Evaluates training effectiveness via audits, surveys, and feedback.
• Guides incident response training and ensures up-to-date compliance with policies.
