Job summary

GSA is seeking an IT Specialist (Training, Communications & Change Management) to design and deliver technical training and change-management guidance across agency-wide IT solutions. This role includes creating instructional content, providing live training, and shaping communications for end-users.

Responsibilities include managing training programs, tracking metrics, analyzing enrollment and satisfaction, and leading projects from design through support to ensure maximum value to employees

Qualifications

• Applying adult learning and instructional design to IT training curricula.
• Developing and delivering training using blended learning techniques (videos, written materials, and in-person).
• Evaluating training feedback and metrics to track program effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Design expert technical training, communications, data analysis, coordination, and advice in the future planning and integration of agency-wide/regional technology solutions.
• Provide agency-wide technical guidance (including videos, instructional guides, and live training) to efficiently and effectively operate software/hardware systems.
• Participate and/or lead the implementation of Agency-wide IT program projects from design to support for assigned organization (including communications, training, and user feedback on technical solutions).
• Research new IT developments and plan long-range incorporation into the organization’s work.
• Deliver end-user training in support of new system development and implementation.
• Manage programmatic aspects of the IT training program with robust tracking mechanisms.
• Monitor and analyze data such as course enrollment, attendance, satisfaction, and open rates of communications.
• Evaluate training curriculum effectiveness and drive continuous improvements.
