Job summary

Gibbs Die Casting Corporation is seeking an IT Computer Technician to keep workstations and network equipment running reliably. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, maintain and upgrade equipment, and support Team Members with technology needs.

Responsibilities include following security policies, keeping accurate documentation, and collaborating with IT leadership to improve our network and systems. Overtime and on-call coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of relevant computer support experience.
• Working knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems and networks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, workstation and peripheral issues to minimize downtime.
• Install, configure, upgrade and maintain computers, OS, printers and network devices.
• Provide hands-on tech support and training to team members.
• Protect company systems by following security policies and reporting incidents.
• Document help desk requests, repairs and inventories clearly.
