Job summary

Domtar is seeking a hands-on Technical Support Specialist to deliver Tier 1 hardware break/fix support for desktops, laptops, and printers within the Domtar Business network in Wisconsin. You will use the internal IT Ticketing Tool to resolve incidents and change requests, promote cybersecurity best practices daily, and ensure assets are accurately updated in the Asset Management System.

This role also focuses on IMAC activities, hardware deployments, and preventive maintenance, offering growth

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a technical support role with progression using technical skills.
• Associate degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience with Windows, printers, and network troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 hardware break/fix support for desktops, laptops, and printers.
• Use internal IT Ticketing Tool to resolve incidents and change requests.
• Support Tier 1 IMAC services: hardware deployments and moves.
• Promote IT Cyber Security best practices daily.
• Maintain Asset Management System records and perform preventive maintenance.
