Job summary

CSI Pharmacy in Plano, TX seeks an IT Technician 2 to provide escalated support for end-user devices including tablets, computers, mobile devices, and printers. You will install, repair, and upgrade client devices to ensure optimal performance, delivering timely help in-person or remotely while following ITSM processes.

You will help strategy and provisioning optimization. The role requires 2+ years of help desk or maintenance experience, a degree preferred, and ability to work 40 hours/week

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 5 years of equivalent experience.
• 2 years prior computer systems maintenance experience.
• 2 years help desk experience or equivalent certification/knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term strategies and capacity planning to meet future IT needs.
• Identify and capture user requirements.
• Research and recommend client devices, software, and related products for purchase.
• Install, upgrade, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user hardware and software.
• Ensure accurate tracking of hardware through Asset Management procedures.
• Perform minor equipment ordering.
• Test new equipment and validate functionality for our environment.
• Provide on-site and remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex PC, tablet, and mobile device problems.
• Provide escalated level 2 Service Desk support for end-user software issues.
