Job summary

Medford School District 549C is seeking a Computer Technician II to install, operate, and maintain computers, servers, and network components for our schools in Medford. The role includes supporting intercom systems, sound systems, two-way radio equipment, and related technologies.

You will report to the Manager of Network/Telecommunication Services and must have a high school diploma or GED with at least three years’ experience in repair and maintenance of business and industrial systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; AA degree preferred or higher.
• Three years’ experience in repair and maintenance of business and industrial machines and modern telephone, intercom, security, clock, and sound systems.
• Valid Oregon driver’s license; ability to obtain required licenses.

Responsibilities

• Installs, operates, and maintains/repairs computers and peripheral devices, servers, network components, intercom systems, sound systems, two-way radio equipment, software, telephone equipment, clock systems, security systems, and related components.
• Troubleshoots all problems regarding electronic technology.
• Maintains accurate records, orders supply inventory, and projects future supply requirements.
• Assists other departments and provides training or guidance as needed.
