Job summary

Heritage Companies in New Mexico is seeking an IT Technician I to be the first point of contact for technology issues across our hotels, restaurants and operations. You will troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity, install devices, and document requests through Freshservice.

You will travel between Heritage properties, support onboarding/offboarding, manage Google Workspace access and assist with POS and guest-room tech systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT support or help desk experience preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, Google Workspace and basic networking.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to travel between Heritage properties and work occasional evenings, weekends, holidays or overnight assignments.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and required vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline technical support to employees on-site and remotely, resolving common hardware, software, account and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, Chromebooks, mobile devices, printers and related technology.
• Document and manage service requests through Freshservice, escalating complex or high-impact issues when appropriate.
• Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, user accounts and access controls through Google Workspace.
• Provide initial support for POS, PMS, guest-room technology and other hospitality systems.
• Assist with network equipment, Cat6 cabling, preventative maintenance, cybersecurity tasks and technology deployments.
• Maintain accurate technology asset records, documentation and equipment inventories.
• Travel between Heritage properties to provide on-site technology support as needed.
