Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking an IT Computer Technician to install, upgrade, configure and troubleshoot computer hardware, software and peripherals at the Fort Myers location. The role requires strong technical skills and the ability to support staff and program participants.

Responsibilities include maintaining operating systems, configuring PCs and printers, aiding in disaster recovery planning, and ensuring security policies are followed.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with hardware, software, and peripheral installation and maintenance.
• Experience with Windows Server environments.
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ are a plus.

Mansioni

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software.
• Assemble and configure computers, monitors, and peripherals.
• Assist in updating disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues; perform repairs.
• Perform data destruction (wipe hard drives) as required.
• Provide technical support and guidance to staff and program participants.
• Recommend hardware and software acquisitions based on needs.
• Plan and assist with new hardware/software purchases and maintain up-to-date knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with policies and provide excellent customer service.
• Handle occasional high physical demands (lift up to 40 lbs).
