Wellvance is seeking an IT Technician to act as the primary contact for staff IT queries, ensuring timely responses and optimal IT service operation.

The role includes diagnosing computer issues, installing hardware/software, and providing setup/training for PCs, devices, and network resources. Strong focus on security and problem escalation to ensure continuity.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate's degree from an accredited college/university in computer science, business, mathematics, or accounting/finance.
• College education may be substituted by a requisite level of knowledge and two or more years of hands-on experience in a technician support role.

Responsibilities

• Create user accounts for access to network resources (AD, M365, email, applications).
• First level of support for staff in use of computers, devices, software, hardware, and cloud systems.
• Install and configure hardware, software, systems per agency specs.
• Maintain security and privacy of IT systems and information.
• Escalate issues beyond first level to second level support.
• Provide on-call support as necessary.
• Document support activities in the IT ticketing system.
• Configure new equipment for daily use and end-user connectivity.
• Deploy IT resources to end-user locations.

Responds to user needs in a timely manner. Ensures the optimal running of IT services and systems. This position is responsible for providing hands-on support for staff, which includes diagnosing computer issues, monitoring IT systems, installing hardware and software, and performing tests. Works closely with staff to assist in troubleshooting and resolving IT issues. Additionally, the position will provide hardware and software setup, maintenance, and instruction on use for PCs, peripherals, mobile devices, telecommunications, and related IT equipment.
