Responds to user needs in a timely manner. Ensures the optimal running of IT services and systems. This position is responsible for providing hands-on support for staff, which includes diagnosing computer issues, monitoring IT systems, installing hardware and software, and performing tests. Works closely with staff to assist in troubleshooting and resolving IT issues. Additionally, the position will provide hardware and software setup, maintenance, and instruction on use for PCs, peripherals, mobile devices, telecommunications, and related IT equipment. Persons with Lived Experience with mental illness, intellectual and developmental disabilities, or substance abuse disorders are encouraged to apply.**QUALIFICATIONS*** Two-year associate's degree from an accredited college/university in computer science, business, mathematics, or accounting/finance.* College education may be substituted by a requisite level of knowledge and two or more years of hands-on experience in a technician support role.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** Create user accounts for access to network resources to include AD, M365, email, and applications. Suspend and/or disable accounts as requested.* First level of support for staff in the use of computers, communication systems, mobile devices, office productivity software, associated hardware, server resources, and cloud systems as required.* Install and configure appropriate hardware, software, systems, and functions according to Agency specifications.* Maintain and ensure the security and privacy of IT systems and information.* Identify support issues beyond first level and escalate to the appropriate second level support.* Deliver on-call support as necessary.* Document support activities in the Agency IT support system software.* Configure new equipment for daily use and end-user connectivity to the Agency network resources.
