Job summary

Dayforce is seeking an Information Technology Technician to install, configure, secure, and maintain computer hardware, software, servers, phone systems, networks, and peripherals across our sites. You will respond quickly to service requests and deliver top-tier technical support to internal users, upholding our ethos of service and innovation.

You will work under the Manager of Information Technology, collaborating with the IT team to prioritize tasks, manage outages, and ensure reliable IT

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Three years of IT experience.
• Proficiency with Windows 10 and Windows Server OS.
• Proficiency with LAN/WAN technologies including switching, routing, and wireless connectivity.
• Certifications welcomed; Cisco, VoIP, virtualization; HIPAA/PCI/SHIELD/SOC2 awareness; cloud platforms like Microsoft 365 and Google G Suite.

Position Summary

Support agency’s information technology needs by installing, configuring, securing, and maintaining computer hardware, software, servers, phone systems, networks, and peripherals. Responds in a timely manner to service issues and requests. Provides the highest level of customer service and technical support to internal users across multiple sites. Carries out the IT Department’s ethos of service and innovation.

Qualifications

Minimum Education, Training & Experience:

• Associates degree in Computer Science or related field
• Three (3) years’ experience in Information Technology
• Proficiency with Windows 10, and all versions of Windows Server operating systems
• Proficiency with LAN & WAN technologies, including switching, routing, and wireless connectivity

Preferred Education, Training & Experience:

• Recognized industry certifications
• Proficiency with Cisco switching, routing, and VoIP systems.
• Proficiency with server virtualization technology
• Experience with data security and compliance standards (HIPAA, PCI, SHIELD, etc.)
• Experience with cloud based platforms (Microsoft 365, Google GSuite, etc.)

Essential Skills and Abilities

• Effective communication skills with customer service and teamwork focus
• Ability to prioritize and multitask while maintaining deadlines
• Ability to read, interpret and apply technical publications, manuals and other documents
• Ability to troubleshoot and positively resolve an array of hardware, software and application problems
• Ability to effectively interpret and articulate technical information to non-technical users and provide formal and informal technical instruction/demonstration
• Ability to effectively interpret new software applications and apply knowledge from one application to another

Salary

$24-$26 per hour based on experience
